The Six String Nation guitar and its constituent parts were researched, collected, shipped and assembled without any government funding. It is also (contrary to popular belief) NOT a CBC supported project. CBC Radio IS one of the sponsors of the summer tour, for which it also received radio content in return for the sponsorship. At this date, the project is some $80,000 in the red. Your photo and T-shirt purchases as well as your individual donations can all help make a dent in this deficit and allow us to continue getting the guitar into the hands of Canadians across the country in the coming months.
