School and educational bookings
This assembly presentation is about 70 minutes long including a 5-15 minute segment near the end of the show called the "performance pocket" during which pre-selected students, staff members or special guests bring Voyageur
to life in performance. The presentation is appropriate for about grade 4 or 5 through high school, college and university groups. We've also presented to ESL classes, curriculum forums, heritage fairs and teacher groups. Discounts are available for partnered school bookings and we can do as many as two or even three presentations in a day in some cases. Time permitting, we're happy to add special visits to specific classes or clubs for extra time to spend with the guitar or ask questions, etc.
Jowi is trained, certified and background checked to present in schools through Inner City Angels.
